Meet Our Team: 30 Seconds with Raceen Satele

Where were you born? 

Honolulu, HI

What is your education background? 

I’m a 2003 graduate of Iolani School.  I have a BA in Health Studies and a Master’s of Education from UH.

What do you love about hosting and storytelling?

I love having the chance to inject my own personality and expression into the stories I tell and the opportunities I get to host. 

What are you up to these days?

I’m busy raising my young family with my wonderful husband, AJ. We have four kids- Welo (6), Aila (5), Aivee (3), and Noble (1). I also dance hula for Hālau Hiʻiakaināmaklehua under the direction of Keano Kaupu and Lono Padilla. 

Share an interesting fact about yourself

I had the privilege of being Miss Hawaii in 2009 and placed 6th at Miss America 2010 gaining the title of Miss Congeniality.  I also played for the University of Hawaii Rainbow volleyball team from 2003-2007
